A traveling exhibit of works by famed Spanish artist Salvador Dali is on display at North Sarasota Library through the end of July.
Jacaranda Boulevard traffic will be reduced to two lanes starting Monday, July 13, as a major construction project begins, according to Sarasota County Public Works staff.
We are two months into the 2015 hurricane season, Sarasota County Emergency Management reminds you now is the time to prepare for a hurricane. Have a plan, have your kit ready and remember "the first 72 are on you."
Could your neighborhood pride use a boost? If so, you should consider applying for up to $10,000 in matching Neighborhood Grants, which are available through Sarasota County's Office of Neighborhood Services.
The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County's (DOH-Sarasota) Health In Motion Mobile Medical Unit staff will provide free and low-cost public health services at 10 sites around the county during July.
