New SCAT routes begin Nov. 14th -- County Updates

Sarasota County Mosquito Management Services is celebrating 75 years of service by hosting a community open house on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10a.m.to 2 p.m.
Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources announce the return of the popular "One Book" program for 2016, focusing on the works of John D. MacDonald, in commemoration of his 100th birthday.
Several route changes and new services for Sarasota County Area Transit (SCAT) will become effective Nov. 14.
See the world in a whole new way as Sarasota County hosts GIS Day from 1 to 5 p.m. Nov. 18 at Gulf Gate Public Library in Sarasota.
Local health and school officials have teamed up with Healthy Schools, LLC to "Teach Flu A Lesson" by providing no-cost flu vaccine to students during select school days in November.
