County Updates: Two New Commissioners

Paul Caragiulo takes over the District 2 seat previously held by Joseph A. Barbetta, who ends eight years of service with the county commission. Alan Maio assumes the District 4 seat that Nora Patterson held for the past 16 years.
The candidate, Rocky A. Burke, of Lexington, Ky., has more than 15 years of leadership and management experience within the public transit industry. He previously served as the general manager of Lextran in Lexington, where he oversaw a program that included 75 fixed bus routes and 49 contracted para-transit buses, more than 200 employees and an operating budget of $21 million.
The Knights Trail Park Pistol and Rifle Range will be closed to the public on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27-28. The range will resume normal operations on Saturday, Nov. 29.
