Bee Ridge Roadwork Tonight

There will be night work tonight (Thursday April 29) at the intersection of Bee Ridge Road and Mauna Loa Boulevard.

One mast arm was not installed, at this location, due to an overhead conflict with FP&L. The conflict has been resolved, and there is a window of opportunity for the subcontractor to install the mast arm tonight (actually it will be, Friday morning, May 1, beginning at 1 a.m.). Missing this window may delay the mast arm installation several weeks. Permission has been granted for this work to be performed, provided proper "Maintenance of Traffic" is installed and traffic flow is maintained. Bee Ridge Road will be narrowed to one lane with flag men directing alternating traffic flow. The duration of work is expected to be one hour and the Construction Engineering Inspection team will be on site.
