Most Sarasota County Government offices, including the Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County, will be closed Monday, Sept. 5, in observance of Labor Day.
Help protect and preserve water resources by becoming a water steward in Sarasota County, with a new program offered by Sarasota County UF/IFAS Extension and Sustainability.
The North Sarasota Public Library has established a new partnership with the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Gulf Coast Florida.
Country music group "One Night Rodeo" will be at the Nokomis Community Park Pavilion from 2 to 5 p.m.Saturday, Sept. 3.
Sarasota County needs enthusiastic, friendly volunteers to help staff our Welcome Desk at 1660 Ringling Blvd. Knowledge of the downtown area and county services is a plus, but not required.
