The Legacy Trail surrey departs the Laurel Community Center and Trailhead every Tuesday and Wednesday at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Rides are free. Contracts approved for Gulf Gate Library, ATMS On Dec. 6, Sarasota County awarded a $1.1 million construction contract for Phase 2 of the Advanced Traffic Management System, and a $740,750 architectural and engineering contract for the new Gulf Gate Library.
