SATURDAY: Sarasota County will host a volunteer event from 9 a.m. to noon at Arlington Park in Sarasota

The Sarasota County Pistol and Rifle Range at Knight Trail Park will be closed to the public Saturday, Oct. 11, for a law enforcement competition. The range will resume normal operations Sunday, Oct. 12.  Operations at the Trap and Skeet Club and the Archery Club will follow normal operating hours. 
Sarasota County Extension Master Gardeners will host the 10th annual Plant Sale and EdFest, Saturday, Oct. 11, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Twin Lakes Park in Sarasota.
